Environmental Policy

Iain Semple Chemicals understands our responsibility to provide environmentally friendly products. All our products have been specially formulated to be as environmentally and user friendly as possible.

All detergent materials used in our formulations comply with, and exceed where possible, the EC ‘Biodegradability of Surfactants Regulations’ (EC 648/2004). All detergent based products supplied by Iain Semple Chemicals (such as Traffic Film Removers, Shampoos, Hard Surface Cleaners etc) are classified as “readily biodegradable”, and may be discharged to foul sewer.

Iain Semple Chemicals shall continue to work with customers (through monitoring use and staff training) and staff (through continuous training and improved working practices) to increase efficiency and minimise waste; thereby reducing any negative impacts on the environment.
